Skills4Girls Partner Toolkit
UNICEF, 2019
UNICEF’s Gender Equality team engaged me as a writer and editor thanks to my familiarity with the organization’s editorial style and communications approach. I supported the development of the Skills4Girls Partner Toolkit, which was designed to help position UNICEF as a partner of choice for organizations interested in investing in adolescent girls’ education, skills development, and economic empowerment.
Working closely with the programme team, I helped refine the messaging and overall strategy of the document, shaping the narrative and tailoring the content to a partnership-focused audience. The goal was to clearly articulate the value proposition of investing in adolescent girls’ skills — including STEM, digital technologies, entrepreneurship, and life skills — and to demonstrate UNICEF’s capacity to deliver impactful programmes at scale.
The final toolkit provided a clear and persuasive framework for engaging private- and public-sector partners, supporting UNICEF’s efforts to build strategic collaborations that expand opportunities for girls and young women worldwide.
